Floating Concepts Website Launched

With www.floatingconcepts.co.uk the future of property development is here now and it means looking to wetlands, waterways and coasts for our housing requirements.

Floating Concepts is a property developer on water, rather than land. To announce its arrival, Floating Concepts asked Text Internet Marketing to develop a state of the art website to act as a showboat for the concept of living on underutilised water spaces.

As an island nation we are very crowded and prime land locations come at a premium. Then there are the issue surrounding global warming and rising sea levels. So the time is right to take advantage of the benefits and freedoms of living on water.

Floating Concepts is the brainchild of David Beard. He has over 30 years experience in property development in the UK and was part of the syndicate of investors who lead the early regeneration of Liverpool South Docks.

Whilst exploring ideas for the surplus water space at his Liverpool and Salford Marinas, David contacted a number of manufacturers and professionals involved in the design of floating structures and travelled extensively in Europe and Canada.

Having secured the UK distribution rights to the exclusive Danish 'Waterliving' luxury houseboat concept, he has since formed a number of partnerships with other manufacturers and, in addition to his own professional team, can call on the services of some of the most experienced and innovative designers of floating structures in this new emerging market.

As a new business concept, the website's navigation has been developed with growth in mind. The site will expand with the business and additional features such as a property search and gallery have been developed and can be activated as the business requires them.

This is a sleek modern site that focuses on imagery to get across some of its key messages, as such there is an element of flash showing off the inspiring architecture that speaks of 21st Century living as apposed to the traditional view of canal barges and house boats moored to the banks of other waterways.

David added "it's imperative for our business to have a website that can adequately demonstrate not only living on water but also the awe that these structures can inspire. Graphically the site had to be second to none and that's been accomplished, it's also easy to find your way round and Text has given us plenty of scope for the development of content as well as additional features."
