Haydock Park offers an exciting horse racing atmosphere and a unique leading conference centre in the heart of the North West of England.

There is a range of first-class hospitality facilities set in 127 acres of beautiful parkland, offering the perfect location for events and exhibitions.

Haydock Park already had an existing website which was not achieving the desired result. As well as promoting the racecourse, the organisation wanted to highlight their conference facilities and the fact that they are easily accessible from around the North West. They approached Text Internet Marketing to come up with a new look, image based site promoting all of their facilities.

Haydock was in the process of rebranding, putting in place a new strap line: "Serious sport, serious fun." Text Internet Marketing built the new site to reflect the new branding, bringing the company's online presence into the 21st century.

Text Internet Marketing didn't build the ecommerce system for the Haydock Park, although the website was designed and built with the aim of getting people to buy tickets online and over the phone, or to enquire about the conference facilities.

The Haydock Park website is essentially three sites in one; it is a multi-purpose, ecommerce website designed to promote conference facilities, racing and professional areas. Each different section has its own identity; this is achieved through the use of colours and images.

In addition to this, weddings, meeting, conferences, fairs, exhibitions, and parties can all be held at the racecourse. Haydock has the ability to update their calendar schedule using the 'Event Manager' within their content manager system. This allows them to list, organise and plan different events.

Due to the size and the wealth of information available on the website, it is important that Haydock Park had a strong navigation. Therefore, when visitors enter the site, the information most relevant to them is just one click away.
